PACZKI

The proper definition for a Paczki (pronounced Poonch-key) is as follows: Paczki are traditional Polish doughnuts that are round, fried, and similar to jelly donuts. They are usually filled with jam or another sweet filling and topped with powdered sugar or icing. 

Fat Tuesday (the day before Ash Wednesday, or the start of Lent) is usually the day when everyone enjoys these delightful treats! However, we usually start offering them a month before, in order to be able to ship the out to all the Gluten Free folks that want to partake in this tradition. You dont need to be Polish to polish off a Paczki! Or, maybe you just crave a filled Donut! This will fill that requirement. But, we only offer these for a month, so make sure that you order a bunch and freeze them. Because once they are gone, they are gone til next year!

Please take the time to read this post before asking questions. I have some commonly asked questions, as well as important dates regarding Paczki. Fat Tuesday is February 13 this year. Take note that this year is very different than prior years due to our move. So, there are some changes to be mindful of.

1) What ALLERGENS does Paczki contain?

Our Paczki contains the following allergens... Egg, Corn, Soy, and Dairy. The Dairy (Milk/ Butter) is in the Paczki itself. While we do not use Nut Flours in this recipe, we do use nuts in our facility, and cross contamination may occur

2) Is there a MINIMUM amount of Paczki that I have to order? Can I order an assortment online?

If you are having Paczki SHIPPED out to you, you must order them in packages of 4, of the same flavor.

IN STORE, you can purchase any amount, and any flavor.

3) Do Paczki FREEZE well?

Yes, very well! Buy more and freeze in ziplock bags, as this is the only time of year we offer them.

4) What FLAVORS are available?

Custard with Chocolate Dip, Raspberry with Chocolate Dip, Raspberry with Powder Sugar, Lemon with Powder Sugar, Vanilla Creme with Chocolate Dip and Chocolate Creme with Chocolate Dip. Chocolate may be on the side for all Chocolate Dipped, depending on weather. Naked Options available online, but not in store. We are NOT doing any substitutions this year. Nor any special flavors. We will also NOT,be shipping out the Cream Filled ones this year.

If chocolate comes on the side, it's best if Paczki is frozen before dipping in heated chocolate. We also recommend heating in microwave for peak taste!

5) Can I ORDER AHEAD of time to pick up on Paczki Day?

No. First come, first serve. No holds. No Pre Pay.

We used to have small batches available daily during the month. But, this year, we will likely only have them on the weekend before, so Friday/ Sat Feb 9/10. We are usually also open the Monday before ( Feb 12). Hours have not yet been hashed out.

6) What are the HOURS for Paczki weekend/day?

TBD. Will update as we get closer

7) Will you sell Paczki AFTER February 13 online and in store?

Left overs will be sold in store. If we have a lot of Paczki left over, I will post them for online sales. If sold out before we are able to process your online order, you will be notified that your order is canceled.

8)ONLINE is for SHIP OUT only! If you put in an order online, expect it to show up at your doorstep!

9) If you are a SHIP OUT order...

We ship ALL over the US, with the exception of AK and PR.

-I will be taking online Paczki orders up until Saturday, Feb 3, 2024 at 2pm EST. *Please Note* we do reserve the right to take Paczki off the website before the 2/3 deadline if circumstances dictate.

-An email, with a tracking number, will be sent to you once your order has shipped. Check spam.

10) If you order by 1/30, your order will arrive by Fat Tuesday. **If you order between 1/31-2/3, we will do our best to make sure it gets to you by Paczki Day!**

11) If you get your Paczki before you intend to eat them, they are best kept Frozen. While the fridge is ok, it will dry them out faster. So, freezer is best for storage.
