PACZKI

The proper definition for a Paczki (pronounced Poonch-key) is as follows: Paczki are traditional Polish doughnuts that are round, fried, and similar to jelly donuts. They are usually filled with jam or another sweet filling and topped with powdered sugar or Chocolate icing. 

Fat Tuesday (the day before Ash Wednesday, or the start of Lent) is usually when everyone enjoys these delightful treats! However, we start offering them a month before, to be able to ship them out to all the Gluten Free folks that want to partake in this tradition. You don't need to be Polish to polish off a Paczki! Or, maybe you just crave a filled Donut! This will fill that requirement. But, we only offer these for a month, so make sure you order a bunch and freeze them. Because once they are gone, they are gone til next year!

FAQ Paczki Post 2025

Please take the time to read this post before asking questions. I have some commonly asked questions, as well as important dates regarding Paczki. Fat Tuesday is March 4, 2025. This year will be different than years past, due to our new location(s).

1) What ALLERGENS does Paczki contain?
Our Paczki contain the following allergens: Egg, Corn, Soy, and Dairy. The Dairy is in the Donut itself. While there are no nuts or nut flours in our Paczki (save for a few obvious flavors), we do use nuts in our facility and cannot guarantee no cross contamination.

2) Is there a MINIMUM amount that I can order? Can I order an assortment?
SHIP OUT: Paczki come in 4 Packs of the same flavor. You can order as many 4 packs as you like. No Assorted available.
IN STORE: Sold individually. Any flavor. No minimum.

3) Do Paczki FREEZE well?
Yes! Buy more and freeze in ziplock bags. This is the only time of year that these are available. The Fridge dries baked goods out.

4) What FLAVORS are available?
Custard with Chocolate Dip or NAKED.  Raspberry with Chocolate Dip, Powder Sugar or Naked. Lemon with Powder Sugar or Naked.  Vanilla Crème with Chocolate Dip or Naked. Chocolate Crème with Chocolate Dip or Naked. *Naked* means that your donut will come with NO Powder, or Chocolate sent on the side. Naked is only available Online.  We do some special flavors on Paczki Day for IN STORE only. NO substitutions online or in store.  Chocolate is shipped on the side for ship outs only, not for in store.

5) Can I ORDER AHEAD?
No. All during Paczki Month and Day is First come, first serve. No holds. No prepay. No exceptions.

6) What are the HOURS for Paczki weekend/ Day?
TBD. Will update as we get closer.

7) Will you sell Paczki after Fat Tuesday?
Leftovers will be sold in store. If we have a lot, they will be put online as well. If we sell out before processing your order, you will be notified of the cancellation.

8) ONLINE is for SHIP OUT only! If you ordered on our website, expect it to show up at your doorstep!

9) If you are a SHIP OUT order…
We ship All over the United States, except AK and PR.

10) ORDERING: If you are having trouble accessing our website. Click on our website in the “About” section of our Facebook page. Or Instagram's Home page. Or google us, and hit the website button if you can’t type it in. While an account is not necessary, it is helpful (and free) if you have one. We do not share your information, and cannot view CC info.

11) We use USPS to ship. It's HIGHLY encouraged to choose Priority Shipping over Ground, especially if you live further away from Michigan. You will be able to see your shipping total before checking out. Ship Outs are only sent out Monday – Thursday. If you are West of MN, IA, MO, AK, LA, and South of TN and NC, PLEASE put your orders in as early as possible (preferably by 8th Feb). These orders go out on Mon/Tue only.

12) Once we make Paczki, we start FILLING ORDERS. If you order other items with Paczki, your order may not be filled in the order it was received. Since we focus most of our attention on Paczki during this month, other items may not be made in a timely matter. If we are not able to make these other items while processing your order, you will be notified about how you would like to proceed.

13) Once your order has shipped, you will receive a TRACKING NUMBER in your email. I CANNOT estimate when your order is being shipped.  We receive hundreds of orders, so it’s hard to answer shipping inquiries. If you get your order in before the 2/8/25 deadline, your order WILL be received by Paczki Day. I will try to post the Order number range on our social media.  If you are going to be away, and not sure if your order will be shipped then, please let us know in the “Order Instructions” so we make sure not to ship your order during that time.  We won't be able to wait til closest to Paczki Day to ship your order. We are in a much smaller space, with no storage. Orders will be filled as they come in. Please note, by waiting til closer to the deadline, you run the risk of us possibly being overwhelmed with orders and cutting off the ordering process early, without warning. 
*If you get your Paczki before you intend to eat them, they are best kept Frozen until ready to eat.

- DEADLINE: If you want your Paczki order guaranteed before Fat Tuesday, orders MUST be placed by Saturday Feb 8, 2025 at 3pm. AFTER this, no guaranteed arrival by March 4. They will stay on website for an undetermined date, but will be taken off when we are no longer able to fill orders. **Please note** that we reserve the right to take Paczki off the website BEFORE 2/8/25, WITHOUT WARNING, if circumstances dictate (we have had to do so in the past, due to an overwhelming response).
