Last year was definitely a learning curve as we adjusted to operating in two locations instead of one. Between limited freezer space, broken sealers, unexpected E.R. visits, and more, it was a challenging season. That experience taught us a lot, and we’ve made several changes to ensure a much smoother process this year.

Please take a moment to read this post before reaching out with questions. It covers our most commonly asked questions as well as important dates and details regarding Paczki orders.

📅 Fat Tuesday is February 17, 2026.

1) What ALLERGENS does Paczki contain?

Our Paczki contain the following allergens: Egg, Corn, Soy, and Dairy. The dairy is in the donut itself. No sorghum. No Oats.

While our standard Paczki flavors do not contain nuts or nut flours, nuts are used in our facility. Due to this, we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination.

2) Is there a MINIMUM amount that I can order? Can I order an assortment?

SHIP OUT: Paczki come in 4 Packs of the same flavor. You can order as many 4 packs as you like. No Assorted available.

IN STORE: Sold individually. Any flavor. No minimum.

3) Do Paczki FREEZE well?

Yes! Buy more and freeze. This is the only time of year that these are available. The Fridge dries baked goods out.

4) What FLAVORS are available? Available Flavors (Online and in Store):

• Custard – Chocolate Dip or Naked

• Raspberry – Chocolate Dip, Powdered Sugar, or Naked

• Lemon – Powdered Sugar or Naked

In-Store Only (Starting This Year):

• Vanilla Crème with Chocolate Dip

• Chocolate Crème with Chocolate Dip

We will also offer select special flavors in-store only on Paczki Day.
Please note that Crème flavors are no longer available for shipping.

* Naked means your paczki will come with no powdered sugar or chocolate coating and is available online only. Chocolate is always served on the side online only, and depending on weather conditions, powdered sugar may also be provided on the side.

🚫 No substitutions are available online or in-store.

5) Can I ORDER AHEAD  in store?

No. Small batches will be available in store daily. Flavors will be posted on our Social Media pages. All during Paczki Month and Day is First come, first serve. No holds. No prepay. No exceptions.

6) What are the HOURS for Paczki weekend/ Day?

TBD. Will update as we get closer.

7) Will you sell Paczki after Fat Tuesday?

Any remaining Paczki will be sold in-store. If quantities allow, leftovers may also be made available online. If we sell out before your order is processed, you will be notified of the cancellation.

8) ONLINE is for SHIP OUT only! Ordering on website, www.glutenfreespecialties.com, means it will show up at your doorstep! 

9) If you are a SHIP OUT order… Please note this year's changes!

We ship All over the United States, except AK, HI and PR.

10) ORDERING: If you are having trouble accessing our website, please click the website link in the About section of our Facebook page, on Instagram’s Home page, or search for us on Google and select the website button if you’re unable to type it in directly.

Creating an account is not required, but it is helpful—and free. We do not share your information, and we cannot view your credit card details.

11) We are switching back to FedEx for shipping, since their shipping times have been the most reliable over the years. Your shipping total will be visible before checkout. If you are located west of MN, IA, MO, AK, LA, or south of TN and NC, please place your orders as early as possible. Orders to these areas ship Mondays and Tuesdays only.

12) This year, there is no order deadline. However, we can guarantee that the first 100 orders will arrive by Paczki Day. That said, we will continue working tirelessly to get all orders out as quickly as possible. We strongly encourage you to place your order as early as possible so we have the best chance of shipping it in a timely manner. Paczki will remain available online until we determine when to remove them, but please be aware that the closer we get to February 17, the less likely your order will arrive on time.

Keep in mind that shipping times increase the farther you are from Michigan. Additionally, we will be spending a significant amount of time stocking the store in preparation for Paczki Day.

Please note: No orders will ship February 12–17, as we prepare for Paczki Day—our busiest day of the year.

13) Paczki are now in production, and orders will be filled as they are received. If you order other items along with Paczki, your order may not be completed in the order it was placed.

Because most of our focus this month is on Paczki production, other items may not be made in a timely manner. If we are unable to complete those items while processing your order, we will contact you to discuss how you would like to proceed.

14) Once your order has shipped, you will receive a tracking number by email.
Please note that we cannot estimate shipping dates. We receive hundreds of orders, and unfortunately we’re unable to respond to individual shipping inquiries.

If you will be away and are unsure whether your order may ship during that time, please let us know in the Order Instructions at checkout so we can avoid shipping while you’re unavailable.

Orders are fulfilled in the order they are received. We are unable to hold orders or delay shipping until closer to Paczki Day.

Please be aware that waiting until the last minute to place your order may result in missed availability. If we become overwhelmed with orders, we may need to close ordering early without notice.

*If you get your Paczki before you intend to eat them, keep Frozen until ready to eat.

- DEADLINE: 

To guarantee delivery before Fat Tuesday, your Paczki order must be one of the first 100 orders placed. Orders received after that point are not guaranteed to arrive by February 17, but we will do our best to get them to you by then

Paczki will remain available on our website for an undetermined period of time and will be removed once we are no longer able to fulfill additional orders.

Please note: We reserve the right to remove Paczki from the website without warning if circumstances require it. This has occurred in the past due to an overwhelming response.
